Vinyasa: To Place in a Special Way

Entering a Lululemon store can be very intimidating. Maybe you are going because you need a new pair of "work out pants", or maybe you are going because your friend got a great looking scarf and this is where she got it, regardless you feel the urge to check out the new trend that has flowed its way into the gym. Upon entering you are immediately greeted by a slender, tall, athletic goddess who welcomes you with open arms into their cult-followed athletic-wear brand. My first shopping experience was merely a walk through. I didn't want to become brainwashed like most of my girlfriends. However, this unique athletic store offered more than photos of famous athletes on the wall and better designs than a simple swoosh. I was mesmerized. Keeping my wallet zipped tight I went to the accessories section to check out the lesser expensive items. I wanted to stray from the pants and tops section, because honestly I didn't know what I was doing or what I needed from this store, and I didn't want to look like an amateur. There it was, a beautiful, colorful, scarf that would kick off my addiction. Once I picked it up there was no turning back. The fabric "Luon Light" felt like velvet and it's reversible which allows me to wear this scarf more often than not. Suddenly, I was interrupted by a goddess who explained to me that this was the "Vinyasa Scarf". "Vinya who?" Vinyasa means to place in a special way and boy did she show me all of the different ways to "place" this scarf. Sold. You can wrap it around like a normal scarf, unsnap it and wear it like a wrap, snap only a few and twist it behind your head and back over to create a more instant cowl-neck, and you can also wear it as a tank top. The cost was $48 and for that I was getting a scarf, wrap, tank top, blanket, cowl-neck, whatever I wanted to use it for. The chevron pattern allows me to wear the scarf with bright or dull colored pants and of course you can turn it over and just wear the black side. I have uploaded a picture of me in this versatile apparatus, which has just become a mere dent in my Lulu collection.
